Finest Essential Oils

About us

EXCELLENCE WITH TRADITIONS

The history behind Atmosphaer dates back to 1993 when the first privately-owned family-run Bulgarian rose oil producer, Rosabul, was established in Chernozhemen. Over the following years the company became the leading Damascena rose oil producer and the growing overseas demand led to the expansion of the distillery from six to nine 10m3 distillation vessels. As a result of the growing worldwide interest from prospective and existing clients for an even greater product range Atmosphaer was established as an independent company branching out of Rosabul in 2018.

Sustainable All-Natural Production

Our commitment to sustainable and envrionmentally friendly practices is at the heart of our business. Sourcing from more than 140 hectares of rose gardens requires more than a thousand field workers. We continously monitor field workers to prevent child labor in the sourcing and production of our Bulgarian rose oil.

People First

During the rose oil production season Atmosphaer offers a premium to workers willing to stay in Chernozhemen for the season and in this way reduce the travel in unsafe conditions as temperatures can reach 40 degrees C.

In addition to higher remuneration, Atmosphaer partners with vendors to help field workers with their accommodation and relocation. Every year more than 300 of our rose pickers prefer to stay in the village for the rose oil season.

Workers have full access to fresh drinking water to cool down throughout the day and first-aid kits for medication preventing allergic reactions from insect bites.

In addition to this we have also partnered with a transportation company which offers coach buses to help transport workers in a safe way by providing a seat for each passenger.
